In the Palace of Conservatories, built on the ruins of the Temple of Jupiter, you can admire the “Capitoline Wolf” and the “Spinario”, both made of bronze, besides the Roman and Greek sculptures. The gallery exhibits, among others, paintings by Caravaggio, Guercino and Domenichino.
The sculpture collection extends to the Palazzo Nuovo, enriched by works such as the Capitoline Venus, the Laughing Satyr and the Injured Amazon, by the 65 busts of the Roman Emperors and by the original of the equestrian monument of Marco Aurelio.
