In Via Lombardia was “The Temple of Venus Erycina”
The Temple was in Via Lombardia. The Venus, here said Erycina from Erice - a town known today as St. Giuliano in Sicily, where was dedicated to the goddess a famous temple - was the object of worship of the Consul Marco Purcio Licinio, who in 184 BC erected to her an important building.
